He’s one of those artists you just have to experience in person. I would call him a bucket-list artist. Is that a thing? If it’s not, well, we just made it one. If you’re reading this, I want you to do one thing for me. Grab a pen and paper and make a list of 3–5 artists you would want to see in person. Many people think, “Why waste your money when you can listen to them for free?” Believe it or not, there is a huge difference between listening to an artist through your headphones and experiencing them live. You can only truly understand it when it’s an artist you’ve been waiting to see.
Bruno Mars is that artist for millions of people. He’s that artist for me and my best friend, too. We talked about it for years.

“We can’t miss the chance to see Bruno Mars”
“Going to a Bruno Mars concert would be a dream”
“Can you imagine if we got to see bruno Mars?”
Welp it’s safe to say as soon as the tickets went on sale there was no hesitating whether we were going or not.
With no regrets. No overthinking. We swiped the card.
Yes, I will probably be judged for the rest of my life for the amount of money I spent. But I would do it again.
It was freedom.
It was life.
Bruno was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I can’t really explain it, and I definitely can’t put a price tag on an experience like that. When you think about a moment for so long and then finally get to live it with someone you grew up with, it makes it all worth it. There’s a saying: “Money comes and goes, but memories last forever.” It’s cheesy. But for the first time in my life, I’m actually living it.
Whatever atmosphere Bruno wanted to create, he let everyone live in the present. Whatever show he envisioned, he left it all on the stage. And whatever he wanted his show to be remembered as, I think he created something people will be talking about for a long time.
A memory worth it all.
So, whoever is reading this, maybe it’s just me rereading this for the 100th time, I want you to remember something:
It’s not always about how many sold-out nights are on the schedule, how many seats are filled, or how recognizable your name becomes. At whatever stage you’re in, sometimes it’s about doing it with no regrets.
Are you an artist? A full-time worker? A college student? A music lover? A teenager? Maybe you’re someone looking for the next big thing. Whatever it is, do it on your terms. Because sometimes, when you take that chance, you don’t just create something people remember. You create a once-in-a-lifetime experience for yourself, too.
